On Sunday, March 2, former Nutley High School standout Sydney Hess’ current college team, the Sacred Heart Pioneers, lost 8-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the UNC Greensboro Spartans.

The game took place at UNCG Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Spartans this season.

The Pioneers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 4 at 3 p.m. at Radford Softball Stadium against Radford Highlanders.
