– Be patient.
– Listen when they share with you their personal triggers and think of ways you can make accommodations.
– Never belittle their anxieties
– Reassure them often and let them know how much you care about them.
– Don’t take their hard questions like “You still love me, right” personally.
– You can take space when you need it–you do not need to be their only support 24/7.
